There will be a chance during all tours to rest for a moment or two however if mobility is an issue with anyone in your group please consider this before booking.

Can I pay by Cash?
You can pay cash for public Quarantine Wander or Quarantine Station Story Tours in the Q Station Visitor Centre Museum & Cafe on the day of the tour, subject to availability.

Our ghost & paranormal tours are often fully booked days or weeks in advance and we must take payment at the time of booking. Check online or phone Tour Reservations on 9466 1551 to check if spots are available to avoid disappointment.

Why do I need to get to Q Station 30 minutes before the tour?
We ask that you get to Q Station at least 30 minutes prior to your tour as you will need to catch our shuttle bus from Q Station Reception (at the top of the site - next to the carpark) down to the Wharf Precinct (at the bottom of the site). These shuttle buses operate around every 20 minutes. If you would like to have something to eat at the Visitor Centre Museum & Cafe, or Boilerhouse Restaurant/Engine Room Bar, we recommend you arrive a couple of hours before that so you don't have to rush.

Yes, you can give your booking to a friend & they can attend on your behalf.

I'm running late! Will the tour wait for me?
Sorry, but no. Our tours must start at the scheduled time and will not wait for latecomers. If you are late for your tour we cannot match you up with your group & will not issue a refund, so we encourage you to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your tour, or earlier if you want to browse our museum or eat at the Boilerhouse Restaurant & Bar (during opening hours).

The Booking Calendar says a tour is Fully Booked. Can we have just 1 or 2 extra spots?

How far in advance do I need to book a tour?
Due to the popularity of our tours and to avoid disappointment, we recommend you secure your booking ASAP. Our ghost tours tend to book up at least a week or more in advance - especially on a Friday or Saturday night, during a long weekend or before a public holiday.

I would like to book a tour at the late minute, is this possible?
